Nampijja Doreen

Abandoned at church

Nampijja Doreen, a little girl full of resilience and hope, was found abandoned at a church doorstep. With no information about her background, she was welcomed into the loving embrace of Way to Paradise Children’s Home. Despite the challenging start to her life, Doreen has blossomed into a bright and spirited child, finding solace in the warmth of her new family and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Ainebyona Igniteous

Rescued from a drunkard father

Ainebyona’s story is one of desperation and the search for basic sustenance. Seeking solace and nourishment, he arrived at our church, revealing a heartbreaking truth – he had no parents or relatives to care for him. Moved by his plight, we welcomed Ainebyona into our embrace, providing him with the love, care, and support he desperately needed. Today, he is a cherished member of our Way to Paradise family, experiencing the warmth of a home and the hope for a brighter future.

Mutesi Jane

Orphaned due to HIV/AIDS.

Mutesi Jane, is a young girl who faced the heart-wrenching loss of her parents to the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS. Left orphaned and vulnerable, she found a new home and family at Way to Paradise Children’s Home. Through love, care, and access to essential medical support, Mutesi Jane has not only found healing and stability but also discovered her own strength and determination to create a brighter future despite the adversity she has endured.

Lukwago Moses

Separated from their families during armed conflict or war

At the tender age of four, Moses experienced a tragic loss as both his parents succumbed to the devastating effects of HIV. In the midst of grief and uncertainty, we opened our doors to Moses, offering him a loving and nurturing environment. With compassionate hearts, we provided him with the necessary medical care, support, and a new family. Today, Moses is a thriving member of our Way to Paradise home, carrying the memories of his parents in his heart while embracing the opportunity to grow, learn, and create a hopeful future for himself.

Mwetise Alex

Victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Mwetise Alex, a brave young soul who found refuge at Way to Paradise Children’s Home after enduring the horrors of domestic violence and abuse. Despite the pain and trauma experienced, Alex has discovered a renewed sense of safety, love, and support within the caring environment of the home. Through healing and empowerment, Alex is now on a journey of resilience, breaking free from the chains of their past and embracing a future filled with hope and possibility.

Nabukenya Prossy

Neglected or abandoned due to extreme poverty

Nabukenya Prossy, a resilient spirit, found solace and hope at Way to Paradise Children’s Home after being neglected and abandoned due to extreme poverty. With the Home’s unwavering support, Prossy’s life has been transformed from despair to opportunity. Through access to education, nurturing care, and a loving community, Prossy is now empowered to break free from the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for herself.

Muwangunzi Isaac

Parents struggling with addiction or substance abuse.

Muwangunzi Isaac, a courageous young boy, found refuge at Way to Paradise Children’s Home after his parents’ battles with addiction and substance abuse left him in a vulnerable and unstable environment. With the Home’s compassionate care and guidance, Isaac has been given a chance to heal, grow, and overcome the hardships he has faced. Through love, support, and access to counselling services, Isaac is building a foundation of resilience and embracing a hopeful future.

Kalongo Jane

Children affected by natural disasters or displacement.

Kalongo Jane, a resilient young girl, found herself at Way to Paradise Children’s Home after being affected by a devastating natural disaster that left her displaced and without a home. The Home became a safe haven for Jane, providing her with shelter, stability, and a caring community. With the support of the dedicated staff and fellow children, Jane is rebuilding her life, finding solace in her new surroundings, and embracing a brighter future despite the challenges she has faced.

Birungi Favour

Victims of child trafficking or exploitation

Birungi Favour’s life took a dark turn when she fell victim to child trafficking, enduring unimaginable exploitation and abuse. Rescued from her tormentors, she found sanctuary at Way to Paradise Children’s Home, where she received the love, care, and protection she so desperately needed. Through counseling, education, and a nurturing environment, Favour’s resilience began to shine. Today, she is reclaiming her childhood, healing from her past traumas, and dreaming of a future filled with hope and endless possibilities.

Munanura Allan

Escaping dangerous or unsafe living conditions.

Allan’s journey began with abandonment as his parents left him at his grandmother’s home, where he struggled to find enough food to survive. Eventually, his grandmother made the heart-wrenching decision to bring him and other children to the streets, hoping for a better future. Fortunately, compassionate village members intervened, rescuing Allan and bringing him to Way to Paradise Children’s Home. Here, he receives the love, care, and support he needs to overcome his past hardships and create a brighter path for himself.

Mukisa Emma

Parents incarcerated or imprisoned.

Emma’s journey has been marked by hardship and abandonment. Left in the care of his grandmother, who struggled to provide for him, Emma eventually found himself living on the streets. Recognizing his vulnerability, the compassionate villagers intervened and brought him to our doorstep, where he found safety and solace. We welcomed Emma into our Way to Paradise home, offering him stability, education, and a loving community that supports his growth and dreams. Despite the challenges he has faced, Emma now has hope for a brighter future filled with opportunities to thrive and make a positive impact.

Lumala Frank

Child labor or child exploitation victims.

Frank’s early life was marked by uncertainty and loss. With unknown parentage, he found solace with his grandmother in Kengo village. However, tragedy struck when his grandmother passed away, leaving Frank without a caregiver. Recognizing his vulnerable situation, we intervened and welcomed him into Way to Paradise Children’s Home. Now, surrounded by a loving and supportive environment, Frank is given the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive, knowing that he is not alone on his journey.

kyampeire bridget

Rescued from abusive parents

Kyampeire Bridget’s journey is one of courage and survival. She was rescued from a life of abuse inflicted by her own parents, who were supposed to protect and care for her. At Way to Paradise Children’s Home, Bridget found solace and a safe haven. Surrounded by love and support, she is rebuilding her shattered trust and discovering her worth. Through therapy and education, Bridget is breaking free from the chains of her past, embracing her potential, and forging a new path towards a brighter and happier future.

Tukirizo Generous

Rescued from a drunkard father

Twikirize Generous’s life took a heartbreaking turn when her father passed away, leaving her in a vulnerable position. Unable to care for her, her mother made the difficult decision to bring her to the church and left her there, with no trace of her whereabouts since then. However, at Way to Paradise Children’s Home, Twikirize found a safe refuge where she is surrounded by a supportive community that embraces her with open arms. 

 

Turatsinze Colleb

Abandoned at church

Turatsinze Colleb’s life took an unexpected turn when he was abandoned at a church. Left with no family or support, he faced a daunting and uncertain future. However, his story of resilience began when he found a new home at Way to Paradise Children’s Home. Here, he discovered a loving and caring community that welcomed him with open arms. With the help of dedicated caregivers and educators, he is thriving despite his challenging start. Through education, emotional support, and opportunities for personal growth.

Mirimo Jordan

Rescued from abusive parents

Mirimo’s world turned upside down when he tragically lost both his parents, leaving him with no one to care for him. The devastating loss threatened to rob him of his future and stability. However, the compassionate hearts at Way to Paradise Children’s Home stepped in to provide him with a safe haven and a loving family. Through their unwavering support, Mirimo has found a renewed sense of belonging, healing from his past trauma, and the opportunity to pursue his dreams. With every step he takes, Mirimo carries the memory of his parents in his heart, knowing that their love will always guide him forward.
